The Boathouse is situated by the lovely sandy beach and dunes at Dawlish Warren right on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Once you step inside you are immediately greeted by friendly staff and cosy surroundings. Downstairs the atmosphere is relaxed and intimate with sofas, booths and quiet corners, whilst upstairs the sweeping ocean views and stunning coastline make it a truly memorable dining experience.

In the summer months you can make the most of dining outside on our balconies and downstairs beer garden. Why not dine al fresco in the evening underneath our heated lamps?

We specialise in local real ales and our extensive menu has some great food with something to suit everyone from Smokehouse Specialities to Family Favourites such as the popular Baby Back Ribs and the hearty Fish & Chips.

 

Children have their own menu, a meal deal for only £4.99 (which includes a drink and ice cream), a complimentary soft play area and colouring in.

Our pirate décor and many artefacts with tales and references to pirates and smuggling never fail to unleash their imagination!

We have two fully equipped baby changing areas, highchairs in abundance, baby food available to purchase and a microwave for customers to use for warming baby food and milk we cater for all your needs.

If all this wasn’t enough we also operate a Membership Scheme which is open to residents of Dawlish, Teignmouth, Torquay, Paignton, Brixham, Exeter and the surrounding area. We are set in the middle of a 500 acre nature reserve which includes the estuary of The River Exe, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and attracts many unusual species of seabirds and waders in their thousands.

Dawlish Warren is a popular stop for cyclists and walkers who take advantage of the fantastic cycle route from Dawlish through to Exeter and beyond. Also situated on Dawlish Warren green you will find the mini fun fair, go-karts, and amusements. It is easy to understand why Dawlish Warren is an extremely popular resort.
